Short Description
A first-person stealth game about taking down mass surveillance cameras and fighting a dystopian future. Every camera you break brings The Flock a little closer. Sneak out at night and destroy cameras with a growing arsenal of tools, sell camera scrap for upgrades, and hire a crew.
Description
Your town bought cameras. Lots of them. They record everyone, all the time, whether or not you've done anything. One of them photographed you. Now you're in the file, and the only way out is to take the whole network down, one pole at a time.
Sneak through eleven districts after dark. Read the vision cones, stay out of the streetlights, and pick your moment. Paint a lens and slip away, or grind through the pole and run. Heat rises with every camera and every mistake, from Noticed to Hunted to Lockdown. Push it too far and the night is over, your scrap is gone, and tonight's work gets reinstalled by morning.
Every camera is a small puzzle. Low mounts on fence posts, pole cams out of reach, mobile trailer units, caged cameras with tamper alarms. Spray paint, a bat, bolt cutters, an angle grinder, a signal jammer and an extendable pole each open different answers. Disable a camera and it comes back in a night or two. Destroy it and get home, and it's gone for good.
Mass Surveillance Inc. fights back. It has a service depot in every district and sends reinstall crews while it stands. Wreck the depot and the district is yours. Hardware store purchases are logged and shared with the council. Sell scrap at the pawn shop instead, where nobody writes anything down.
Days matter too. Fence your scrap, buy gear, read the morning paper to see how the town took last night, upgrade the safehouse, hire a small crew to hit cameras while you sleep. Then go to bed and wait for dark. Every camera you destroy brings you closer to the final encounter with the ultimate enemy.
